The Canada Homestay Network
HSC works with The Canada Homestay Network (CHN) to place our students with host families in the local area accessible by HSC’s network of private buses. Every family who joins our homestay program must pass a rigorous screening process by CHN.
Once a student is placed with a family, supervision and support are provided by CHN's Relationship Manager 24 hours a day. The HSC International Student Specialist also works with students at school to ensure that homestay accommodations are meeting their needs.
HSC has high expectations for host families and is fortunate to have worked with our families for many years. Our students say that the host family program is a wonderful opportunity to develop life-long friendships with someone of a different culture.
Providing a safe, secure and welcoming home environment where you can be successful is the first priority of our program.
